The Human library Project

The human library is a fascinating movement that allows people to borrow "human books" and learn from their personal experiences. Originating from Denmark in 2000, it has now spread to over 80 countries. Each "human book" represents a group in society that often faces prejudice or discrimination. By engaging in conversations with these human books, readers can gain a deeper understanding of different lifestyles, beliefs, disabilities, and social statuses. It's a unique opportunity to break down barriers and challenge stereotypes. All the human books are volunteers who have personal experience with their chosen topic. The concept is truly inspiring and promotes empathy and understanding. We are excited to explore this idea further, and we look forward to sharing our experiment with you. Happy reading and sharing!

we would like to hear your stories without any judgement. You can choose to go anonymous but do share the stories you have never shared before!!!

Save Manila Bay

The story of the sustainable coastal community is truly inspiring as it showcases the positive impact of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through the implementation of various sustainable initiatives, such as responsible fishing practices, mangrove conservation, and eco-friendly tourism, the community has been able to thrive while preserving their natural environment. By aligning their efforts with the UN SDGs, they have not only improved the livelihoods of the local residents but also contributed to the overall well-being of the planet. This story serves as a shining example of how local communities can work towards achieving the SDGs while reaping the benefits of a more sustainable and resilient future. It is a testament to the power of collective action and a reminder that everyone has a role to play in creating a better world for present and future generations.
